Do you want to simplify personal pickups and at the same time protect yourself from potential disputes? We have added a software upgrade to our mobile warehouse scanner that addresses just that. Forget about printing paper delivery notes for customers who pick up goods in person. With the new update, your warehouse operator can complete the entire handover process quickly and reliably, even in the field!

 

The new update allows you to:

 

  • Digital delivery notes in the palm of your hand: Open, review, and confirm delivery notes directly on the scanner's screen,
  • Photographic proof: Easily use the scanner's camera to add a picture as proof of the package's condition or as confirmation of loaded goods,
  • Electronic signature for confirmation: The customer signs directly on the device's screen upon pickup, and the signature is automatically saved with the delivery note.

 

 

A practical example: Resolving claims before they arise

 

The old way: A warehouse operator prints a delivery note, the customer signs it, and takes the goods. Two days later, the customer calls, claiming that one of the packages was already damaged upon pickup. Without proof, resolving the dispute is difficult and expensive.

With the new functionality: Your warehouse operator opens the digital delivery note on the scanner. They notice that one of the packages has a slightly dented corner. They take a photo of it with the scanner, inform the customer, who agrees to the pickup. Then, the customer signs directly on the scanner's screen. The photo of the damage and the signature are instantly saved with the delivery note in your system.

The result? When the customer later files a claim, you have a time-stamped photograph and signature that prove the condition of the goods at handover. The dispute is resolved in a minute, and you have avoided unnecessary costs and maintained a good relationship with the customer. This is the efficiency our scanner brings.
