Main Advantages of Using a Mobile Scanner

The mobile Android barcode (EAN) scanner enables seamless, fast, and accurate work in the warehouse, reducing errors and improving inventory handling. All information is displayed on the screen immediately after scanning, providing control and eliminating mistakes. The scanner includes all the functionalities needed for shipping and warehouse operations (WMS).

Adjusted overview

The rights of each user and their access can be accurately specified in the mobile scanner. While some users can be provided full access, some can be restricted to only certain functions. This enables more efficient workflow management and reduces the possibility of errors and incorrect inventory or shipping.

Inventory

By using the mobile scanner and reading EAN codes, conducting either whole or partial inventory to correct the number of supplies is fast.

Conducting several inventories in one day for the same warehouse is enabled without disrupting the company operations.

Commissioning / Picking

As soon as the operative finishes preparing the order for shipping, on the mobile scanner, the warehouse sees calculated shipping needs merged by SKU and displayed warehouse locations, which direct towards optimal collection and scanning of the desired quantity in the warehouse as well as their delivery.

Packing / Shipping

By scanning the delivery service label, the order recipient is displayed on the warehouse screen as well as what has to be in the package. Confirm the correctness and complete the shipping by scanning the ordered products. However, if the wrong code has been scanned, a warning will be displayed stating that the wrong product is about to be shipped which prevents sending the wrong products leading to unnecessary refunds/replacements.

Unclaimed parcels / returns

Warehouse quickly reviews unclaimed parcels, scans the labels, and on the screen obtains information about orders for which the packages have been returned.

Immediately after confirmation, returns of supplies and credit notes for invoices, which were issued for the shipped orders, are automatically created.
